I often look through my many screenshots, but today I went aaaaaall the way back and looked at my first ever screenshot from Elite Dangerous.

It 100% isn't the first screenshot I ever made, but it's the oldest one I have. Pretty sure this was in an Eagle, which was the only way to take "clean" photos back then. You can even see the cockpit in the top right :D

This was the first picture I took in ED.
Dunno how long after I started playing I took it.
I didn't bother with screenshots until I realised I could buy a ship-kit for my Cobra, then I bought the paintjob as well and had to find out how to use the camera suite and take screenshots so I could take a picture of it.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, that was also when I first realised that Earth spins the wrong way in ED.
In the pic' it was just before dawn on Earth but, in reality, I took the pic at something like 6pm.
Did they ever fix that? :unsure:

Genuinely my first screenshot was one I made to report a bug :) Some things never change. (I miss Mitch and Jonny) But it is also a great screenshot. 15th August 2014

Although my first proper one was a week later when I found out if you were careful you could hide from authorities within the station superstructure :)

Despite playing since the beta I never tried taking pictures until Horizons released and my favourite vehicle, the Scarab SRV, arrived in the game. Not that I knew it would become my favourite at the time.

Edit: Also that Cobra III is my beloved Lucretia, my most flown ship even today.
