Postcards from the Edge

It has been a while since I wrote home so here are a few postcards from a white supergiant just a wee bit out toward the edge, 57k LY from home. This an A-IB supergiant system and her companions in order (A-MR-Y-C5GG ((2 shots of this green goddess))-Y-C4GG-C4GG), and a departing shot to see what other beauties the Galaxy can offer up to the Ghost and I. Cheers, commanders! Smooth sailing to you all.

And off to the next stop....thataway >>>>>>>>

Good Luck Cmdr! Thanks for sharing bits of your journey. Those are nice shots!
I considered taking a Krait mk2 into extended long voyage once. How long have you been out?

I left Shinrarta on October 4th, tooled around various outer arms then jammed over to Sag A at Thanksgiving to park the Ghost for a two week holiday out in California and also to CMA if the Dec update was borked. Left Sag Dec 2nd and now at the decision point. The Ghost has a 58 ly normal jump range and right now I'm trying to decide if I should head to Shinrarta (58k ly), Sag A (38k ly), Beagle (30k ly), or press on and hope to squeeze another 1-2k ly out into the blackness. As it stands my legs right now are like a bucking bronco, bouncing up and down across the plane to try to travel a wee bit further outward. The entire voyage has been grand, truly. I tend to try to find the oddballs, the misfit stars and systems, the little world that shouldn't be there places. Heck, I dunno, I'd like to finally get my 65k ly badge, but the grind is starting to wear my old keister out.

I'd keep at it personally seeing as you're much closer to Beagle than Shinrarta and you're already over half the distance to Beagle Point direct from the Bubble.
