potential compensator, for disconnections / interruptions, to battle-completions

i went off on roll, on this page [ https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...War-State-Multiple-Bugs?p=7256684#post7256684 ]

please consider my suggestion in my post in that report...

... in principal. my extremely sloppy mish-pish wrote-it-as-i-was-still-thinking-it... format, can be thrown in the bin, as long as you get the idea.

disconnections happen, this backwards estimation , threshhold-triggered, method, could at least make the aly bad days, compensated for.

if what the guy details of CBs still being what, primarily adds to inf%,..

then i guess MOST of what ppl are doing is still counted for. i suppose you could add this to take care of whatever extra, the difference between those without interruptions ( including foul-play, mind you ) ... and those who with... would get/not-get.

---------------------

read the post before continuing...

---------------------

in the example i did at the end, faction A & B only had a difference of completing 6 rather than 8 battles, not much... but 8 became 9.
that's 20%/30% turning into 33%, of a difference.
if the number of battles was even smaller... factionA only did 1, but faction B did 3... what if 3 should, have been 5?

or zero, V 2, when 2 should've been 7? if multiple players were having a really bad day..

there is/would be something problematic with only relying on ONE, source, of measurement, if you've got two...

and something even MORE, problematic, if the battles are ticked over WITH CBs...

if you didn't actually end up getting any of what you'd fought for (apart from the credits) ... if you did not win a battle.

imagine ; a group of 4 friends start out strong after school...

they all decide to stay together for security, and they're almost having finished their 1st battle.

a cat jumps on the power-board at the wall... blink! all progress lost...

they start up again, annoyed, but determined to play 100% to catch up, and call their parents to stay for longer...

they complete one, but it was only a low, since someone broke rank, and started out on their own, since they wanted to get a head start.

they then go back to port, go back to a high... and this time, a server error happens, and they're all kicked.

kicking an screaming, they wait and hope theyll get enough time to try another before it's going home time...

some time later, they get back in... and think they might have enough time for a low.

the choice... tantalisingly seems like a lifeline, of options,.. to choose from.

then the cat, sorely needing attention, does the same thing that got it lots of attention the 1st time... and blink!

there goes their last chance.

what could've been a solid marathon, of 3 highs and a medium, or mabye 4 mediums and one high by asking their parents to wait a few minutes while they finish the last one...yyyyes!

becomes a dismal only managed one low CZ...

while having spent more effort and going beserk, the more they tried to catch-up.

LESS, reward, potentially, for trying more, when things go badly.

----------------------

that's a prone game dynamic, Frontier.

ive been playing with it for 2 days... since the update...

and i have had an experience like this, already.

i've done probably over 10Million today,.. yet only completed 2 mediums this morning, despite trying another 5 times, twice, with someone else.

it's a good thing my anaconda's laser-heavy, or i would've done 50 bleedin trips, just to have even tried, that much.

this guy's bug-report... came as a RELIEF!

not a concern, to me.

that doesn't sound balanced / sound-right.

a bug, comes as a relief, to someone?

WHY.
