My name is Menno and I'm fairly new to this forum. I have some game ideas and I thought: Why not discuss them in a thread on the Planet Coaster forums?
I signed up and here I am. So hello! I thought a short introduction would be nice, but now let's get to the game ideas!
ROLLER COASTERS
Power Coaster
A powered roller coaster, also known as 'Power Coaster', is a roller coaster powered through the entire course, rather than being allowed to coast after an initial lift or launch.
Quite a lot of theme parks have power coasters. They can be used for dark rides, small roller coasters, or even a mix of them. Take Europa park for example. They have
the Alpen Express and Arthur the Ride, both Power Coasters.
My point is that I would love to see a coaster like this back in my Planet Coaster Theme Park. They can either be the train version (left) or the hanging version (right). Maybe the hanging version could also turn sideways at certain points on the track, which would be a fantastic bonus. It also often increases in speed at certain points of the track. This coaster will absolutely be awesome, and I'm sure quite a lot of people think that too.
Wooden Roller Coaster
I'm sure this one doesn't need much explanation to many of you. A 'Wooden Coaster' would of course be awesome because pretty much every amusement park has at least one.
I'm looking forward to riding my wooden coaster in Planet Coaster!
Bobsled Roller Coaster
A roller coaster, not stuck to a piece of track, but roaming around freewheeling on a sort of open 'pipe'. I love it, and I would love to see it in Planet Coaster. For those who don't exactly know
what a Bobsled Coaster is, or how it looks like, here you go:
As you can see, the Bobsled Coaster can either be made out of steel or wood. This type of Coaster would be amazing to have in Planet Coaster!
OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Dark Ride
This is an attraction that I personally really like; dark rides! From Haunted houses to Peter Pan's Flight, this attraction has quite a lot to offer. Or well, the scenery, which I will
come back to later on. For now, I want to talk about the ride itself. Dark rides consist either out of normal cars or hanging cars, which can both turn to a 360 degree direction sideways
and not go very fast. Unlike Power Coasters, Dark rides often don't increase in speed, but this may be added. Here are two example of a dark ride:
And yes, the hanging dark ride sounds very similar to the hanging Power Coaster, and if the developers make it the same coaster, that's fine by me. The fact that it will be added
is already enlighting to me, and I think I speak for quite a lot of fans here!

OBJECTS
Robotic Animals
We had some of them in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, so why not in Planet Coaster? Although these animals were mainly dinosaurs, I would love to see actual different kinds robotic (so moving)
of species of animals. These can potentially be used for scenery at the sides of pathways, entrances or dark rides. And of course there could also be animals that don't move, just for
decoration, which would also be amazing. Already looking forward to it!
