I was just about to log in to fly the last 3000 ly home to sell all that lovely data.
I am guessing the servers wont be up this side of midnight, or at least we wont have a patched client by then.
I foresee some serrious server hammering as everyone tries to grab the patch.

Iv just come back from the pub, after wallpapering my kitchen.....iv obviously missed something

Easy night with the missus then.....(drat!!!)

i'll wait til the morning now & download first thing....not always wise to be the first to download in case it goes 'you know what' up!!

My plan needs rethinking too, since I was going to do 17.5kly to get home before it hits. Might as well play on edshipyard and work out what cheap ship has the best shields so I can best move around without getting blown up with my data!

update went smoothly, you can upgrade now ;)
btw it ruined my plans! I was saving this beautiful day for Elite as wife went away with kid, and I could play Elite for whole evening, was looking for it as little child, when suddenly there was 6 hours long downtime. AAARRRGGGRRR PP! But at first look, it's seems to be goooood and juuuiiiicyyy

Good luck. Not productive tonight. Random crashes when jumping between systems. Early night I think... see if it has settled down tomorrow morning.
