Power play modules

Sry if this is unheard of among you power players, but I was wondering about the fastest way to get different modules from different powers.

I signed up with one, waited 3 weeks before I got my necessary 750 merits, waited until thursday, bought the modules and quit the next day.

I had to wait a day before I could sign up with another power, so past saturday i did.

My question is, if I have the merits, can I buy the modules comming thursday or do I have to wait 4 weeks this time around as well?

I know half of my merits transfer between powers...

no faster way
I aligned to each power,spent 1-2 week filling ships with the module, you never know what the future has in store but to have waited 4 weeks, to me it makes sense to stock up so I never have to do that again.
then switch about an hour before the weekly update.
I align with Aisling lastly so I can buy instead of stock shield whenever I want
