This is something that has been bugging me for a while but I couldn't put my finger on it until now. I am part of a group of players within my faction who form a wing or two and go out undermining in 'open'. We do this rather than delivering media and other tasks because we enjoy potentially meeting enemy commanders, however, this seldom happens and when it does it is generally very one sided ('combat ready' wings kill weaker ships delivering media). This is, I imagine, because the opposite numbers in other factions are most likely doing the same as us: while we are undermining, they are undermining, and never the twain shall meet.
In a nutshell, I think it's a shame that Power Play cannot be engineered so that combat wings end up facing each other more, as when it does happen it is a lot of fun. Perhaps by making the defending of home systems more profitable in terms of merits?
Does anyone agree that there is a catch 22 about PP PVP?
