Ships Power Play Ship build

O7 Cmdrs

I rencently started doing the power play thing to get the special weapons.

Anybody have a build specific for power play, something reasonably fast, decent jump range, good for PvE and that carry some cargo (intel or limpets to collect mats)?

Possible base ships Krait Mk II, Challenger, Phantom, Python, FAS, DB Explorer, Keelback.

Currently using Krait Mk II built for BGS, but maybe somebody has something better.

Money nor engineering is a problem.

My five pics would be Chieftain, Fer de Lance, Krait Mk II, Python and Cutter. Specific
builds depends upon engineering capabilities and pilot experience flying each of them

power play involve all aspects of the game, except AX and to most extent exploration, what is diffrent, that u usally need ships with good jump range, both for combat and hauling, also even pve ship should be survivable against player attack, as loss of merits or cargo cost more than in CG or other activities in general
From ships listed, i can say Keelbeck is just useless in everything but maybe as an entry mining ship
 
What cmdr Ramius007 said. It also depends on what you as the commander wants to do as a power player.

I haul 'power play cargo' in a lightly engineered T9

I do CZs in engineered medium and large ships, as the mood strikes me. Alliance Chieftain, Corvette

I run a variety of ship missions in engineered Cutter and Python that lets me whack NPC pirates.

The engineering isn't at all a must, it's just about choosing what you enjoy doing as applying it to the BGS and your power play faction of choice. Hopefully you sign up with the faction of your choice, because the power comes in the coordination.
