Powerplay Power Play special weapons/modules - What happens to them if their power collapses?

NOTE: I know, there are many threads about Power Play special weapons/modules. We are not here to talk about how good / bad they are, so please do not merge this thread with another one.

Hi Commanders,


Has any of you heard/read anything official about what would happen to a Power Play special weapon/module if the Power offering them collapses?

My theory, since we are not in beta anymore and discarding existing weapons would be wasting previous development time, is that this weapon/module would then be available in the outfitting section, to everyone...

...of course I'm not telling to push Arissa, Aisling or Patreus to collapse...or to leave Archon be... :)

My guess is they won't be able to be bought anymore but everything else stays the same.

since it really is nothing more than a current asset with the stats slightly different and the artwork possibly slightly tweaked, it really isn't wasting developer time to make them unavailable nor is it wasting developer time to make a new variant for the next power. It's not like whole new assets are being made.

Might probably go off the market for a while, maybe return when a new power establishes itself or gets created.
They may have other weapons created for all we know so some things may not return quickly, they may even change when they do return.
If you've bought it, you will probably keep it unless you remove it and walk away.
