I am currently out exploring so cannot get back to a control system to collect my wages. Will they stay there until I can get back to collect them or do they disappear on Thursday morning when PP resets?

IIRC they disappear on Thursday morning when the PP servers tick over.

They stay there. That was my experience when I went to Sagittarius A* for two weeks.
