Getting 50 million at the end of a week when it takes an hour to get that running missions isn't something I'm going to worry about.
Not that I'd complain if they did tidy up a few UI things, but my expectation would be that this is going to be low priority with all the other stuff going on.

I had a friend visit and asked about Elite Dangerous, so I showed him what I could in the limited time we had available. He asked how long I had been playing, which is since 2015 (I think) and he commented, "only 96 million credits in all that time." "Look again and count the number of digits." "Oh 96 Billion." So yes, the number format is kinda messed up for my aging eyes.
Or use commas.
Like, 1,000,000.
