Powerplay 2.0 : Real-time Enemy Activity Alerts

A simple suggestion - when a player is in hostile territory and they are scanned by an NPC power ship, an alert should go out to current online players pledged to the defending power that enemy players have been spotted at the scan location. This system could also apply to security breaches of installations and carriers.

The main reasons this would be useful is with such a huge play area, defending players need some kind of homing system (which is time and location based) to encourage powerplay-relevant pvp and add more danger to the hostile players' activity behind enemy lines. Otherwise the likelihood of encounters and conflict is negligible and its too easy for players to move unhindered around hostile territory.

Star Citizen utilises this approach (a notification to all players on the server) with certain missions (Wake of Disaster, Ghost Hollow etc) and it adds quite a bit of spice to gameplay, resulting in dynamic player choke points.

I realise the mode system impacts this suggestion, but people know my perspective on that rabbit hole.

Edit : If this would create stress on the servers the alerts could be limited to the closest 10 players within 100ly of the scanned hostiles. Players could then relay the alert manually in discord servers etc..
