Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but here goes ...

since early Sept. Recently started on the CG's - mostly the Trading/Mining ones (Empire Slaves and Kaushpoos) and think they are great to do !! I am also now looking at Powerplay and would love to get into that, BUT .. I don't want to mess up my options with CG's just because I Pledge to the Empire or someone else. If I pledge to the Empire and I try to take part in a Federation based CG, will I have everyone from the Federation just trying to take me out simply because I am with the Empire ? I'm pretty poor at the fighting part of the game and don't want to be killed constantly.
Also, even for the Bounty Hunting CG's you have to enter a Conflict Zone and then align with one of the two sides - does PowerPlay and the Pledge you need to make affect these CG's ??
