Biological Samples to Vista Genomics???!! What do they mean?



I tried to complete:

1) I collected exobiology in this and a neighboring system and sold it in Vista Genomics in Zeta Tucanae - the task was not completed.
2) I collected Biological Samples from a settlement in a neighboring system and sold them in this one - - the task was not completed.

What does the game want and how to achieve it?

Did you find a solution to this? i have the same issue, deliver biological samples to the sosong system but nothing seems to count. Spent two days on trying to complete this one.

Just tried doing this mission, delivered 34M in biodata as instructed, no merits, no mission completion.

From data in the exploration merits thread it looks to me like a system threshold of about 40M credits needs to be passed before merits are awarded for exobiology data. If so, it would likely also apply to assignment completion.

If anyone's attempting an exobiology weekly assignment, it'd be interesting to test this by handing in some system with more than 40M or so data.

As a way of earning merits in general, exo has to be one of the worst per time investment. In all the exploration hand-ins I've done the carto data was way more effective for merits.

Sold ~50kk data and weekly mission completed! Thx for the tip!
2 attempts to submit ~20kk data before were unsuccessful.

I have the same issue. Pledged to ALD. Required biological samples: 222,249. I delivered so far biological data worth more than 70mil but the assignment is still active as not completed.

There seems to be a threshold of about 40M per system for exobio data to count in Powerplay, as per data you can see in this thread.

So it'd be interesting to know if your 70M was from one system, or what the per system amounts were..

But also, what system did you turn it in at? It's happened before that data has mistakenly been turned in at the Power's HQ system, which can't earn merits or complete assignments for anything afaik.
