I enjoy the meta-narrative of PowerPlay and have spent quite a bit of time working with it. As of the 3.0 update, the new C&P system went into effect, which removed regular bounties for PowerPlay activities and replaced them with Power Bounties. My power would regularly use the "Top 5 Bounties" within our control systems to determine where undermining is occurring so we could then designate forces to fortify.
Unfortunately, there is no way of telling who has power bounties within our own jurisdictions and what systems they are now targeting. I support ALD, and we managed to get multiple systems sniped (people who turn in merits at 0659 on Thursday), effectively putting us in turmoil. I'm not complaining about that... It's part of the game. The issue is there's absolutely nothing we could have done to see that certain systems were being targeted, since we couldn't see the power bounties in the Top 5 Bounties in each station. This is a serious issue for those who engage in PowerPlay.
Maybe in the Top 5 Bounties there could be a designation for Top 5 Power Bounties in each system?
