Powerplay, friendly fire, and unfriendly fire

I was thinking about how the Powerplay Powers factions might affect pilot interactions, and one thing that seemed like a good idea to me was modifications to the current Friendly Fire mechanic. Here's the sort of thing I'd like to see:

What's a little friendly fire between friends?
Pilots understand that accidents happen, and are prepared to give their allies the benefit of the doubt. If two pilots are both allied to the same Power, friendly fire incidents will not result in a bounty unless actual hull or system damage is incurred. Even then, the first hit is ignored. However, each friendly fire incident incurs a minor reputation penalty with that Power.

No tolerance for traitors
On the other hand, deliberate action against allies is unacceptable. If a pilot destroys a Clean vessel of the same Power faction whilst within that faction's territory, not only will they take a massive reputation hit with that faction, but the Power will match whatever bounty the authorities issue with one of its own. If the pilot in question loses sufficient standing to be kicked out of the faction, then both NPC bounty hunters and bulletin-board bounty notices for players to pick up will be issued against that pilot.

Good ideas involving the powers, but you're swinging way too heavily to the extremes in my opinion.

I don't care if it's an ally or not, I don't want my shields stripped to nothing and the shooter to get away with it. Maybe something more like 5%~10% of shields or so.
I kind of understand why destroying vessels illegally while representing a particular power would be seen negatively, but at the worse there shouldn't be more than reputation/ranking loss.

Fair enough - I accept that the concept needs fine-tuning. Maybe reserve the bounty-hunter squads only for serious repeat offenders.

I have allso been thinking about this situation and i wouy say that in addition if your allys are shooting at a wanted Ship that status should be broadcasted to all allies and we should not have to scan there ship to get there wanted status, hop its not too confusing. in addition to frendly fire i would say set a limit for when you become wanted to somethign like 1000, and turn the 200 FF Fee in to a station tresspass type fee and problem fixed. this would be a very easy fix imo, it utilizes what is allready there for wings, and station fee trespass. any hoo my 2 cent.

Jimmy OUT!!!

just remember if your fees pass 1000 then you go wanted just gives a little more wiggel room.
