Powerplay functions on mobile app

With the introduction of Powerplay resource allocations, a time-dependent element has been created that requires / favours frequent availability throughout the day, not just during a session.
This isn't practical unless you have continuous access to a PC / MAC or Xbox that is capable of running the game.
The mobile app is capable of knowing your ship's location and can tell you what ships are available to buy. As this requires a CMDR login it is specific to each commander. Could the mobile app be designed to allow limited starport services, specifically the collection of Powerplay resources? This would be a huge benefit to people who can't access a gaming-level machine throughout the day.

This is interesting. On one hand I understand completely why this would be a really positive change. On the other hand, if the system is so flawed as to need this, something is wrong much higher up on the chain.
