Powerplay interdictions

I tried posting this in the general AI thread, but it's like I'm invisible or something...

A very simple question: are Powerplay interdictions now more frequent than they were pre-2.1?

I'm returning to the bubble with a fair bit of exploration data, and trying to decide whether I need to unpledge to lessen the risk of losing it.

I've not been interdicted by a PP NPC once yet, but that's just my experience :)

Being Pledged will mean more interdictions but I have not noted more than the usual since 2.1 with two exceptions: I have been attacked once by PP NPCs in a RES site and once leaving the mailslot of a starport. I operate on the border between the Empire and the Pegasi Sector (Archon's turf) coming and going from both of those regions pretty regularly.
