Art always has a message, as do games. I don't think FD have some nasty agenda here, but I have really been hoping that there would be some well thought out info on what people look like in the universe. The first 10 Power Play pictures seem to say that the rich and powerful in the universe are white, and to a lesser extent male.

Achenar being what it is, I was hoping that we'd find out that the Duval line are very dark skinned, either due to heritage or deliberate genetial adjustments. Humanity is not just white folk, and far future Sci-Fi shouldn't be stuck with the ghosts of our racist past.

I don't understand why people insist on over-thinking things and are so quick to play the racist card. This is not an appropriate topic for discussion here.

What is the problem? What is that lead balloon and countdown reference?

The first 10 power players are an opportunity for Frontier to paint a picture of the setting, and to tell us something about the movers and shakers. Surely we do not live in an age anymore where anything I said is somehow a hot topic?

You need to re-calibrate your monitor as that is not what I am seeing at all. There is a distinct, broad range of 'colour' represented there, it's as clear as day.
