Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval Powerplay Objectives for turn 27

The following objectives are suggested but recommended actions. Pilots are not obligated to follow it but accomplishment of the objectives will be beneficial for the power overall.

Preparation: Turmoil, not possible

Expansion: None due to Selkadiae and favorable turmoil systems. HIP 77470 will have to wait again.

Fortification: Restricted fortifications

Undermining: Optional


We were able to roll into turmoil to avoid last turn's bad expansion but we weren't able to secure Camundju this turn (with only a small difference from Selkadiae). Woyo Mina and Kanuket are both bad systems so we will be looking to stay in turmoil for next turn.
Fortifications will be restricted to only a few systems listed below, after those are finished. We will have everyone halt all fortifications until a new list is put up.

Preparation

Turmoil
Do not prepare anything that is farther than 110 ly unless you can guarantee that you or your group can fortify that system every week. Optimal distance is approximately 91 ly (fortification cost = undermining cost)

Do not merit grind randomly. Ask around on how to make merits if you're not sure.


Expansion:


  • Do not contribute to expansion (due to Selkadiae)​

Fortifications:

Fortify only the following systems:

  • HIP 105391​
  • HIP 95256​
  • Cailli (platform)​
  • Blod​
  • Yan Musu​
  • HIP 114709​
Once these systems are done, halt all fortifications until a new list is put up.
There will be no dedicated fortification post.

I'm a powerplay rookie and don't fully understand parts of it, but why can't we expand into HIP 77470 this turn? We got stung with Selkadiae but HIP 77470 is a good profitable system to have.
 
Because we want to stay in negative to get rid of Kanuket and Woyo Mina systems. And without positive income we can't expand.

Ah right, didn't realise that. I knew we couldn't prepare if we were in turmoil but thought turmoil doesn't affect existing expansion.
