In 3.0 we have the new wing missions that allow us to haul multiple lots of cargo any way we like within a set timeframe and get paid at the end of it.
In Powerplay, we are still stuck with the following:
Fortification allocations set by rank (penalising rank 1 commanders with big ships with small allocations needlessly)
Allocation time limit (30 minutes): with wing missions you can pick up as much as you like as fast as you like. Why do we need to wait?
Money: why does it cost us who are doing the work to buy the commodities to begin with? Surely its us trying to prove our loyalty to our power by moving as much as we can as fast as we can.
What I propose is to do away with the timer and allocations altogether. Its been said many time before but 3.0 and wing missions simply makes Powerplay even more of an oddity. When you dock, you fill up as much as you can carry for free- simple. Unless you are going for a controlled turmoil and fortifying needs to be strictly controlled, unlocking fortification commodities like this has no downsides. The money rewards are too low to really make it a credit exploit, and carrying this cargo makes you a target for a lot of people too.
Fortifying to 1000% has no detrimental effects, 5C can't really use it but it frees legit commanders playing Powerplay from misery.
Unlocking it would mean people won't be faced with the click click click of doom coming back to a Power (it takes 50 clicks to fill up my Corvette....is this really needed?)
From my comfy ArmChairDesigner™ seat this should be a minor thing to do, but it would make Powerplay much more accessible for not a lot of work. I get that Powerplay might not see a grand redesign, but please please please sort out what we have now.
