powerplay problems . help needed

hi commanders , first off , english is not my native language so please be so kind and ignore misspelling :)

i am the recruiting officer of a Clan , and to explain Powerplay so everone in our group can understand it i have e couple of
questions to the experts out there , i appriciate every little help that helps me get my head around the PP THINGIE :)
most of the things seem to be clear , but some ? ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG :mad:

1. can i pick a system to undermine for merit points that is NOT listed on the PP expansion page of my faction , meaning the systems picked A Lavigy Duval by ? we have no systems for expansion at the moment listed
2. how do i know which enemy faction ship i can destroy without bekomming wanted or fined ?
3. is it working as intended that i am attacked by a Archon Delaine ship in my factions territory and get fined for defending myself ?
4. is there a way to see if my factions is allied to a other faction ?
5. i was at Huaich yesterday taking down Kumo Crew ships for 15 merits , today started the game and i can not attack those ships anymore as they are not stated hostile anymore ? intended ? bug ? or am i missing something ?

and last . i am level 3 and have 50 preperation points (vorbereitungsnominierungen) what do i use them for ?

1) you can undermine in any system that is controlled by another power. the way to do this depends on what your power is and what the other power is
2) you will become fined/wanted if you attack enemy ships unless this happens in your controlled system or in a LAWLESS system
3) no. I have not seen this happen.
4) if you are with Empire power, then other Empire powers are "allied". similar with Federation
5) not sure. have you defected to ARCHON DELAINE?

and last you can use your points to prepare a system of your choice.

This is a myth, many small groups within each faction are all actively undermining all other factions and they attack them, the fact they are Allies is irrelevant.

indeed. whence the quotes "allied".
only relevance is that if you kill an allied power's ship you will lose merits for "treachery"
