There is apparently a bug hitting the system.
If you are at a Control station, you can access the PP Contact, but all screens are suddenly blank for PP.
When looking at the right panel, your PP Superpowers standing information is missing.
If you try to view your PP faction information from the Galaxy Map, the tab is blank.
If you try to access the PP information from the left ship panel, the Standing Information (Middle image) is blank, and your chosen PP faction Information (Right Image) is empty stating that you are not pledged to a power.
This seems to be a UI issue of some type with suddenly not displaying the information. You can verify that you are pledged by trying to access the PP Contact at a station.
If you are not pledged, there will be no PP Contact displayed. If you are pledged, then you can pull up the PP Contact information for the current station you are at.
Since FDev is in the UK, and it is 1am, this issue might not be resolved for a few hours.
There are at least 3 threads in the Bug Report area reporting the issue, a couple have included screenshots.
