Powerplay PvP question

If I join one of the Powers can I than attack Players of an opposing Power? I sure hope so otherwise I dont understand what the whole space conquering is for!

I want to join one of the Powers and than help expand it... if Players of opposing powers come into my powers space it is open pvp right?! Somehow I am afraid this is not the case...

Only in the designated areas. But dont worry, everyone will be grinding in solo anyway xD

If I remember correctly you can attack members of rival powers within your power's territory (since the local governments would support you attacking them) but in the rest of space normal rules apply.

I'm away from home though so can't actually play beta to check, someone might correct me on that.
