Powerplay Powerplay Question(s) for a beginner

I'm currently in Zachary Hudson space. I'm mostly a trader, so I pledged to Torval after reading about some trading perks somewhere. It now says I'm hostile (I assume it's because I pledged to Empire in Fed space). Should I leave Torval, and are alternate powers with trading perks?

Also, will I be hunted by security in Fed space purely based on my pledge to the Empire?
Thanks

If you like smuggling, Archon Delaine has 10% bonus to black markets in exploited systems and 15% in controlled systems.

If you want to stick with Torval, take advantage of her cheap Imperial Slaves and bring them to our black markets for healthy profits ;)

If you are a trader, you only have 2 choices, Torval of the Empire, and Mahon of the Alliance. To take advantage of the bonuses you will need to move to their respective areas of space since you get the bonus trading vouchers only when you sell at a profit in systems under their control. Since the margin is greater in absolute number of credits on high value cargo like Imperial Slaves, you get more of a bonus for Torval since it the voucher based on a % of the total profit of a trade.

Preperation in PP: It is best to not do any preperation until you are more familiar with Power Play. In the mean time check our your powers reddit.

Hi there. If you wish to stay with Zemina Torval then you are welcome to get in contact with us. We know most things about her and Torval space and can answer most if not all of your concerns.

To answer your immediate question, unless you are in open you do not face any immediate danger being in Hudson space.

[h=2]Power Play - HOSTILE Explained and some other myths[/h]https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=159940&highlight=myths

I play power play with one of the coolest and most friendly groups there is. Antal, it's only 2% of all the people who play power play so its, small, tight, co-ordinated and people know each other.

There's no leadership. We do a lot of role play, creative writing and creative game play like bringing law and order to the Frontier Systems such as Takurua

If you don't know much about Antal then here's some background.

There are no slaves of any kind in Utopia. Harmful substances like narcotics are banned too. Illegal trade is closed down. The trade routes are safe as fines and bounties are increased. We overthrow corrupt dictatorships through violent protest. We arrest nonviolent dissidents (the smugglers, drug dealers, slavers, corrupt politicians etc of the old system) to the capital for legal due process and hopefully reintegration in to society. We enforce law and order and are at peace with our neighbors. We do not undermine their growth. We are the only power with a real purpose or vision. All talk of cult, brain washing etc. is not part of the lore and never has been. It is fear of the boggy man and made up by other powers and people fixated with 1984 and just looking to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt. It's all cool!

The figurehead, Antal, makes the best simulations in the galaxy too. They call him SimGuru, like Tech Guru, ofcousre some folk have taken it and twisted it in to some silly idea of a cult to justify picking on him. So you'll read some bad press from other powers on the forum but if you want to know the truth have a look at the official stuff on Galnet.
