Powerplay PowerPlay

I've been playing the game for about a week now and have accumulated about 600k credits from trading and missions. Today I decided to have a look at Powerplay. I've loaded up with Hudsons restricted intel at Sahualasta and searched for a green planet on the powerplay expansion galaxy map. When I click on plan route to a planet for expansion it says "Route unavailable", regardless of planet colour and distance, I simply cant go to any of the planets on the map.

Confused.

Sounds like a FSD issue as Chili said. If you're interested in powerplay join us over on the sub Reddit. Hop on teamspeak and people will be glad to help you. Are you on xbox or pc?

Get the best frame shift drive you can afford, head over to the Hudson Reddit and the teamspeak info will be in the sidebar. Just my opinion, but moving into a better ship should be your primary focus right now. Fly safe Cmdr

You may try the Cobra Mk.III first. (Or an Adder, first, as she's even cheaper)
There is no need to "save up" when there are many ships in between that will make the process much smoother.

I'm not sure you're doing it right. You take intel to any of Hudson's control systems. What are you doing with green planets?

To be honest, I don't think you're far enough into the game to bother with power-play. I think it would be better to wait until you have a 15 million Vulture, then you can go to an expansion zone and kill 10 ships for your 40% bonus.

Whatever ship you have, you should get a Viper or Cobra (makes little difference). Invest your bounty money (keeping enough for insurance) in upgrades until you have about 10 million, then buy a Vulture. Once you have the Vulture, your rate of earning will increase a lot because you can tackle any ship without much danger rather than waiting for other ships to get involved.
