Powers reset Thursday and not Friday?

the way to know when it is going to tick over is: roll a 20 sided dice, whatever it lands on, share that by 3, add 1, then throw the result away and take a guess. Seems to be what FD expect us to do. Fuming over this, I lose out on 465 merits because FD cant even supply us with the required info OR actually you know, make the cycle last a week!

At least we didn't lose any merits this week... But still, that's a week we have to wait now to get our rating. I was only two hauls from rating 3 which would have had a considerable impact for my progression next week. :/

erm speak for yourself, myself and MANY others have lost all of the combat merits we had gained but not handed in yet, I myself lost 465.

I had a cargo hold full of "Out Of Date" stuff this morning which I had to jettison. I'd even paid 100,000Cr for an extra 10T to get me up the scale a bit faster. Look, it's week #1 of PP. We'll learn this stuff quickly enough. Maybe FD should be consistent with the Contracts panel, and add in an object there, e.g. "Trade Agreements for Edward Mahon: 3d 12h" or whatever, so that you know when the server weekly flipover is taking place.

-EDIT- of course I meant "when you have a PP cargo, there will be an entry in the Contracts panel"

As a self-declared 'ED Fanboy' even I have to say I am not impressed by recent events. Having a week last a week should not be that difficult, we've been succesfully doing that for billions of years. Havent been able to log in yet due to work and such but the stories about bugged expansion doesn't make me happy either. If it is really true that the actual expansion is not related to any player activity than FD needs to sort that out. As in, real fast.

It keeps surprising me how they can do so much so well, yet then seemingly include random bizarre design decisions making the game needlessly frustrating.
