PP 2.0 and Passangers

There is such an idea related to passengers, to popularize passenger transportation with influence on PP 2.0 In PP we have all the game segments involved, i.e. combat, mining, trade, hunting, landing on planets, data collection, but a whole separate module related to passenger transportation is not involved, at least 3 ships are gathering dust in hangars... What if we combine them? Well, for example, for missions from superpowers, for transportation of important persons, some technologists, influencers, military personnel, etc. and for the completed delivery, taking into account the quantity and quality, the number of merits and control points is calculated, huh?
 
Proper dropship gameplay. Pick up a combat squad from a station. Hot drop them into settlements and other sites. Pick up a mission for an extraction. Try land as close as you can to the target while under fire. Cover them while they run to the ship and then deliver them back to the station without going boom. Close air support missions or interceptor missions to cover operatives on the ground.
 
A long time ago I suggested having a passenger mechanic like this:

UM you transport spies (which are wanted on scan)

fort you transport security

acquisition had ambassadors / power specific people
it is possible and so, here the essence can be played out in different ways, but the main thing is that nothing massive needs to be done, since the basis has been ready for a long time. Just add a new "resource" tied to passenger transportation, which must be delivered without scratching, even possibly with additional missions from the passengers themselves, as is usually the case when delivering people. Everything else, what it will be called, who these people will be, what relation they have to superpower, can be explained in words simply for Lore and game atmosphere.

The main idea is to use content that has taken a lot of developments time and is now hardly used

Potential use for interiors (everything is interiors forever and ever, Hail Braben) - PP-specific passenger cabin, perhaps fill3d like NPC crew seats are filled. You can poke them for something similar to the weeklies currently, they give you a random mission to do in your current system.
