PP 2.0 - How are the control scores calculated?

Hi folks, simple question (hopefully) but haven't seen anything that specifically says.

Do we know how the control scores are calculated? - to me, they are just numbers but I don't know what consittutes a score. If a system has a control score of 76,000, I have no idea what has contributed towards the score. Is it 1:1 in terms of score and merits? - if you gain 200 merits for an activity in that system, does that constitute 200 control scores?

Grateful if anyone can clarify (if possible) - it may have been mentioned elsewhere but with the wealth of info overload, I may have missed it.

Thanks

That's correct, yes.
(Exception: the weekly assignments are purely personal - the merits you get as a bonus for completing them just go to you, though any other merits you get while doing them go to the systems too)

The scores for control systems are the changes in position since the start of the week on Thursday morning, so a system with 1000 undermining points and 2000 fortification points has improved its position by 1000 points since then. You can see the relative effect of this with the two pointer arrows and the chevrons between them.

The sizes of the three bands are not the same - the red Exploited band is 333k merits, the green Fortified band is 667k merits and the purple Stronghold band is 1000k merits

It is very likely that the control score is calculated from several elements or criteria, and that merits are a part of them.
