[PP] Preparation nominations are ridiculous

Other broken aspects of PP aside, today i didnt know if i should laught or cry about this:

Thanks to the great cycle switch i have higher rank now, so my first thought was, "cool, lets boost a prep system". I invested in Lutni to be displayed on the prep screen and click nominate.

1 nomination = 1 ton of power commodity

I thought rankers could do a difference in PP but this is just ridiculous...

Is that all the nominations are? (the manual is a bit vague on this)
I've been holding on to them right now, because I didn't quite understand how they worked. I thought they were a way to move a system up the rankings in the top 10, to get into the "affordable range" for the amount of CC we have.

So the 10 nominations I got for rank 4 are simply the same as delivering another 10 contracts to that system?

I think FD kinda underestimated how much time people were willing to dedicate to PP...

First the low trigger points... now the worthless nominations...

hahahaahahahahahahaha omfg they are killing me! Can't stop laughing! This implementation... Its great comedy but i'm not sure what else!

You can't even nominate systems that are not already in the top 10 list, making them virtually useless.

So my bonus for being rank 3 is essentially 5 free tons of cargo? Surely this can't be real. Frontier wouldn't do something this stupid. Human beings wouldn't do something this stupid.

Nominations push the systems up the list. Join a group or get involved with the Reddit subforums for Powers, and Frontier really ought to have people manning the forum to help and reply with these posts. Or maybe just close the forum altogether if no one is managing it.

A tad disappointing yes. Need to add a zero on the end of these nominations so that they have value.

Looks like a rather big misjudgement on how many Prep Points players are hauling into systems.

Incidentally what are use of "pledging to Nominate" a system vs "Nominating" a systems
