2 days of PP2.0 and 2 great random PVP encounters which just brought back memories of the good old CG's from back in a day.
Encounter 1:
I was in scavenging/taxi Mandaley in my Power's capital, when I spotted an enemy Cmdr in DBX. Manda had some firepower, but no Interdictor, so I followed their low wake at their FC, but they have already landed. Fine then, I went to do my PP stuff, and when I came back to my Stronghold FC, I noticed some combat in the distance. To my surprise it was the same Cmdr in an SLF (we all know what they were doing, bit cheesy, but hey, I'm not complaining).
Destroyed their SLF and - now please excuse me as it was 2 AM and I was almost asleep at that stage - I somehow thought that now it's just their DBX left... but obviously it was a Federal Corvette. Fair play, I started the fight and lured them back towards the Stronghold, but even with the epic help of the FC's and the NPC's, they destroyed me.
Encounter 2 was a good old interdiction and duel, I was in old-meta-thermal-FDL and the enemy Cmdr in Python Mk2. I lost, obviously (you can see the pattern, I'm not that good at PVP
), but we then had a nice chat in the system chat after. Like the good old days.
I'm really looking forward to when this thing will be patched and balanced. I have over 6k hours across 4 accounts and I have never done Powerplay. I really want to get involved now! Nice one, FDEV, really nice one.
