Pre-Alpha 3 Vs Alpha 3

Too bad i can't play today or tomorrow since im not at home [bored]

I took a day off on thursday just to be able to play [big grin]

But i wonder if the Alpha 3 we get is any different from the pre-Alpha 3 we saw in the livestreams at Gamescom?
I don't expect to see any difference but im just curious if their might have been small changes, bugfixes or well..anything?

Mainly bugfixes, i think. On the other hand, the pre-alpha is from around a week ago... so maybe there can be some small "'cause we like you" extras. [big grin]

I am wondering this too. I can see three possibilities:

  1. Getting the exact same thing
  2. Getting something slightly better
  3. Getting something with a few things left out due to unforeseen problems

I am hoping for #1 or #2, but there is always the possibility of getting #3.

And 1 thing im hoping for in particular...

Having the Desert ground texture available on all maps. In the Alpha we have seen it was not available, i hope they just "forgot" to add it.
I can understand careemode will have restrictions but in sandbox we should have access to ALL items and all rides, textures, scenery, etc.

In particular i found it weird that all desert rocks and stuff seemed available, but not the texture.

I hope they will correct it in the final game, or better yet, correct it in the Alpha we get now :)

I'm really hoping that is sorted for the final release as well otherwise it hinders the ability to create themed areas of the park (in this case a western area).

Indeed!

And that would be a real shame. Once again, i fully understand if they do that on career mode, but in the others we should be able to have it all.

Good one! If im not mistaken they already said the limit of 500 was changed already, maybe that also means the version we get has a higher number...

guess we will find out soon.
