Pre-Order Mercenary Pack - Free Eagle - RED PAINT JOB! Where is it?

So after flying around the past 3 weeks, I finally found a group of stars to call home, and it was time to pick up me "Freagle" that I never even sat in since launch.

I built a small shuttle out of a Sidewinder, Power Plant and Frame Shift Drive, and drove across the Galaxy to pick up the "Freagle".

When I got to where it was docked, and finally got a look at it... it was a similar shade of green (Like the Mercenary sidewinder skin) Oh! Ok, I guess the Mercenary Paint Job came by default on the Freagle... But I remember in the "Upsell Promotional Materials Wanting Us To Purchase The Game Early" a picture of a Cherry Red Eagle:

So I went to the Outfitters and then to the Livery... and to my surprise, there was no Cherry Red.

Is the default Eagle not a Cherry Red? (I've never bought an Eagle, since I had a free one waiting at the old home system.)

And if the default Eagle is Mercenary Green... will there be a paint job that *IS* Cherry Red?

Thoughts? Comments? What am I missing? :S

FYI, I don't have the Red paint for Eagle either, but I'm not sure we are supposed to. I read someplace else that the custom paint was only available on the Sidewinder, Viper and one other, but not the Eagle.

It was only for Falcon Delacy ships (Cobra, Viper, Sidwinder) and it's green with white.

Basically.. It was a bait and switch. Which seems to be a running theme with FD. That red paint was one of the main reasons I bought the pack and I felt screwed when I got that Merc paint and can only use it on my Viper as I have the Cobra paint pack for the Cobra and I don't, at this point, fly any other Falcon Delacy ships.

Before someone argues that they never specified the red paint for the Eagle, yes, you're certainly correct. But they never should have advertised it the way that they did. It was misleading and they very well knew it was.

Since we're on the topic of beta purchase content, what's the news on the promised art book? It was supposed to be released at launch. Now it's almost a month later...

But what does Frontier gain by holding back paint jobs?
It's not even like they save an immense amount of work. I mean...it's paint jobs and decals. Since screenshots exists, they're probably done already anyway. I mean why would they tell an artist to create a fake screenshot instead of telling him to create the actual texture? I know the texture is more work, but come on. Even if they don't exist yet, why would they save on some texture work by not delivering on promises - and accepting legitimate backlash by the community for breaking promises?

I have one paint job for my Eagle and I paid for it, don't remember ever being promised an Eagle skin when I joined beta
The free paint jobs were for the Cobra/Viper I think

I would just like a Red Eagle, that's all. Even if it's offered in their online store. I don't mind shelling out the cost of a cuppa coffee to fly around in a shiny cherry red jet.

Well this is embarrassing. All Alpha, Premium beta and beta backers who bought life time pass were promised the mercenary pack free addition to their game with a free eagle with CHERRY RED PAINT. I clearly remember the commercial.

I don't understand why they don't fix this. What kind of problem could be behind this? Surely this can't be a technical issue.
