Pre-order Odyssey question

Is it possible to pre-order/pre-pay for Odyssey Alpha edition through the Frontier store without using Steam. I do not want to use Steam or have it on my computer, but I can't figure out how to get Odyssey without it.

This is Alpha Deluxe, you can find the standard pre-order on the same site:

Tbh the frontier store is a mess. First odyssey isn't listed under seasons until after you click on it, and you better notice that because it isn't even mentioned on the seasons page. Then every link redirected me to steam. Had to follow a direct link provided by someone else. Not mentioning you sometimes have to login multiple times when you... switch stores I guess? Fix your websites Fdev.

I just had a look its on the first page under new products fa a tad under 40 pounds sterling
so I imagined being a new customer now I know it says the keyword "expansion" but it is not mentioned anyware that you have to own elite dangerous first
so I would be confused straight away...…………….

I can't find a link to steam on the frontierstore.net Elite Dangerous items - you were on the elitedangerous.com site.

Of course you could have actually read the posts above yours which link the right place - but hey, why bother reading a thread's contents before spouting what's in your head.
