I'm on a long-term exploration trip so probably faceplant a few neutron stars, mess up a few landings and hopefully manage at least 6 months before I do too much damage and have to limp back to civilisation.
And then I'll probably mess up the docking sequence somehow and loose all my progress for those 6 months

Actually, for a specific, at some point my "I can fly the Huey in DCS, I don't need a docking computer" routine is going to bite me in the nether regions - probably when performing a six-axis pirouette to get into the awkward dock 3 found on some outposts, which seems designed specifically to encourage close encounters of the expensive kind. I suspect it is some sort of insurance scam - insist pilots dock in as tricky a spot as possible, and then make them pay for a whole new dock when they ding the projecting bits of 'station' they've cobbled together out of Sidewinder wreckage and biowaste canisters. Nobody in their right mind would put anything of actual importance anywhere near that spot...
