Nothing like a bit of conspiracy to keep t'internets turning, hey?! I'd say it was obviously scripted (what else would you expect) but they _were_ playing live. Look at the shots of the screen and the controller - the movements are in sync. This would not be the case if they were just miming along to a pre-canned video.

I think "staged" would be a better term.

I am not sure how calling for help works in the Gamma. I suppose they already had an open channel in the same system and were already close to each other.
