It is unfair just as chaffing, it is a no- problem at all.

Am I reading this wrong?
The description of premium reload says ".......................offer a full restock and increased damage until the weapon is reloaded............"
Some weapons reload after just one shot.
Should this read "...........................offer a full restock and increased damage until the weapon is resupplied..............."
I'm asking because I'm thinking of using premium gauss cannon ammo to go fight a thargoid.
2 x weapons is an added 60% damage of one weapon. Sounds worth it and the materials are common.

I have a distaste for the synthesis mechanism in general and feel that it undermines the premise that ammo is a limited resource that should be conserved, which makes full ammunition based loadouts more potent than they used to be, even after taking into account the dramatic increases to TTK.
That said, I don't have any issues with CMDRs using the tools on hand. I'd use premium ammo myself, if I saw a need for it, but as it's rarely a deciding factor in survival of my vessels, I almost never use ammo synthesis of any sort.

Only use it when fighting Cmndr FLD or any of big ships on my viper\cobra(cuz of shield meta you literally do dmg slower than shield regenerate - and with premium ammo you actually can win, but you gonna die in 2-5 hits.)
Still don`t stop big bois cry about me being a n00b while i defeat their overengineered big ships with my small ship(that only have engineered FSD). "Cuz you use premium ammo *cry*"
Edit1 - With premium in non engineered viper it takes almost 20-56 minutes to take down cliper(depends how lucky you are with your rails)

Yeah.
I'm always short on mats. Particularly raw mats.
Better to die than spending them on coward ammo.
