it depends on when you became a beta backer, if it was during the kickstarter you'll be entitled to a premium box set as well as the expansion pass. if you backed at the start of Premium Beta then you may not be entitled to anything save for access to any beta's that are released in future such as the 1.2 patch beta.
I thought we also got the "Day one" decal - not the merc skull, plus the dark wheel sequel book?
I'd never noticed the MAJOR part in the 'all major downloadable expansion packs as they are released'
What constitutes a major pack from a minor pack?
There is also the free additional ship that will be coming soon, which will be one of the new upcoming 5 ships.
Not sure what the minimum pledge level for the free ship was, but it is certainly included for Premium Beta backers.

So given that, we're still missing the day one decal (I'm assuming the skull decal is for the merc pack?) the art book, not sure about the "loads more goodies", and the 1of5 ships (coz they've not been released yet). Sound right?
Major download packs are things like the planned planetary landing expansion, ability to board other ships, walk around stations etc. These are things that will drastically expand the game and will be separate purchases (if you're not a Prem Beta ower etc). Minor ones that everyone gets are the updates like the one we recently had from 1.0-1.1 that just improve the basic game without changing it drastically. Think of it as expansions versus updates.
Skull is the day one decal as far as I know.

Originally 25 ships were planned then they have decided to add 5 more ships to make it 30 ships. One of those additional ships should be given to Beta players for free.
Being a very early backer, I got the "Premium Beta" level for £90. However, when I attempted to upgrade to the £100 Alpha level (way back when) my £90 pledge was counted as £85, so rather than £10 to join the Alpha, it was £15. Surprisingly, this "downgrade" of my pledge level was confirmed as correct when I challenged it. I declined to pay a total of £105 for a £100 level.
Sorta lost track of exactly what I'll be getting, I know I've my box set on the way in March I believe, but I've seen no additional downloadable items yet, so I guess they're still on their way. Not in any hurry though.
Didn't realise we were due to get another free ship at some point though. I started in my "Free" Cobra - which I technically earnt in the Betas - and an Eagle, which I sold to fund my initial trading. The "Free" Cobra technically isn't mine though, it has ZERO credit value other than the installed components - as I found out when I went to upgrade and didn't have the 300k+ cr in part exchange I thought I had. I wonder if the additional "free" ship we get will also be Zero value?

Have you requested assistance from the support to solve the pledge issue back then? Also Premium Beta was £100. £90 was Physical DRM-free collector's premium boxed edition of "Elite: Dangerous" and this is not Premium Beta.
But you are wrong as Alpha was £200 meaning there was no way that joining Alpha would cost £10 or £15 for your pledge level.

Yup, that was my understanding too. The freebie ship will be one of the last five to be introduced, so I'm not holding my breath to see it anytime soon... they've still got the last ten of the "standard" ships to introduce first.
Isn't the 'ringed planet' decal the 'day one' decal? Or is that the (KS, old backers' app) Backers' decal and 'day one' was for store.zaonce.net-bought access to Premium Beta?
Ringed planet is KS backer decal.
Pity... I'd like a day one decal I'd be proud to display.
