Update: I looked back at my receipt, and my standard beta and expansion pass (valued at 75 and 50 usd respectively) gave me a 136 dollar discount instead of a 125 dollar discount. Thus the pricing discrepancy. I have contacted them about this.
What makes no sense to me is that anyone who chose to back the 100 pound tier during the KS period actually paid less money than (at least americans) who waited for the upgrade. The $14 difference is 8.35 GBP, which gives you a cost savings of 1.65 GBP. And I, backing slightly lower since I wanted to go all digital (and end up giving more money to the game because of no physical fulfillment) saved 6.65 GBP compared to all-digital from the KS period. Some could have saved 11.65 GBP if they got the digital download pack.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I am certainly not complaining. I just wanted to point this out.
