Is this even possible? And what is recommended for us who have the standalone Elite version? Should I shift to Steam?

WHAT was I looking at?! Thanks, lesscode. Preordered a deluxe edition, I owe FD that much for the hudreds of hours of playing.
I got the game on Steam and then later got the LEP. I'm not sure exactly how that's going to work either, considering the weirdness with how Horizons was first listed and whatnot. Odyssey is on my Steam wishlist, as in, I wish to play it; already bought it over 5 years ago. 
And yes, that is one heck of a pre-order. Hoping for a couple more expansions yet too...

I preordered on the Frontier store, but since I play through Oculus Home, I don’t really know how that’s going to translate.
I assume it will be an option when the launcher pops up (an automated process through Oculus), but consideringhow janky the actual purchase process was, who knows if it even worked.
Someone somewhere got my money, but Frontier’s glitchy store page doesn’t give me a great deal of confidence.

When I originally bought ED I got it from Steam (cheap sale natch) then got given a key for Oculus, then another one to launch without Oculus or Steam. I'm pretty sure they'll honour your purchases in whatever format you're using, they're pretty good like that.
