Horizons Pretty Much No Missions With New Start

I have Elite Dangerous: Horizons, I have been playing ED for a couple of months, spent many hours on it. Tonight I have decided to start a new game and after about 3 hours of play I have only been able to get one, yes ONE mission.
Most systems are in lockdown, and when I've gone to many many many different systems that aren't and gone to hundreds of hubs or stations, there are no missions :S Not even ones I am not eligible for, everyone has 0/0 for missions and the same goes for passengers, which I couldn't do anyway because I have the starter ship.
I have decided to give up, after all there is nothing for me to do really, which I am completely disappointed about. I love ED, but it is currently ruined beyond anything with whatever is going on to cause these issues.

Is anyone else having the same issues, and does anyone know if there is a fix?
Else devs, please fix this game destroying issue as quickly as possible

Erm not really. Im getting plenty of missions and i was thinking that the boards were working well and as intended after the patch.

Actually it may be something with that particular area around Asellus Primus and LHS 3447. OP is not the first one to have trouble with that.
Normally, even without reputation, the factions tend to have at least SOME missions available. Not there. In starter area, if you don't have some rep, you're getting nothing
It's weird. One would expect it to be the other way around.

Anyway, the advice for now is simple - get the hell out of there and settle down in some nice High-tech/Extraction system in Boom state. You'll never run out of missions, after that.
