(Pretty) Please Bring back the "Gal Net" alert eMails!

You know, I remember getting these eMails, and then being super hyped up to jump on and get into the fight!

Is this going to be a part of our Elite: Dangerous universe?!? I hope it is! Especially if they can be 'Commander / Faction / Allegiance' specific!

Any news on how, errr..., News is going to be handled after release?

Galnet emails were a placeholder for the in-game galnet system during the eranin conflict event.

They were never intended to be permanent. Here's hoping the Galnet system in game becomes better (seeing the actual title of the article would be good, rather than just "GALNET NEWS:")

I figured they were generated by the 'Background Simulation'. Especially the stats on 'Ship Sales' and 'Trade Goods'.

I mean, that content has made it's way to the News Section in game.. Perhaps you get the news automatically of where your ship is docked? I mean, even that would be frikkin cool!

I hope they bring it back, in a 'game canon' type way. They were pretty cool. And they shouldn't be tedious for the Frontier, nor us. :/

I think once they get the game out the door on release the team can start to loosen up a bit and devote more time to things like GalNet, grooming, their families etc. Until then let's give them a wide berth... for obvious reasons.
