I am genuinely annoyed now. This is what I find when I search my music for 'Prince'.

I lost my cat last year. He was not rich, not famous. But I know that I have infinitely more sadness and pain, that for all the celebrities of the world. One year after his death, he is always omnipresent in my memory and in my heart. Contrary to all these celebrities that I forget a few days after their deaths. Rest in peace my dear cat ... and the celebrities also

Fatalistic nihilism has its place (basically my credo), but I still allow myself the room to mourn the loss of great paragons of human creativity, no matter how inevitable their eventual demise.

PS. I'm so already missing Prince. See also my misguided to set up an OT thread in the main forum. UM, I've learned my lesson thanx.

The Canadian singer has posted a comment on a publication of another singer, Andrew Watt, who paid tribute to Prince. He is jealous for sure

No wishing harm to anyone, I am wondering if the year might end with the passing of a few of the more wrinkly relics from the 1960s who just don't seem to want to take a hint.

There's a big concert planned in the US soon featuring a long list of these.

Anyone remember the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens? Probably forgotten by most now, but these were all big in their day.

Not suggesting any sort of possible connection or anything you understand. [yesnod]
