We the Prismatic Imperium, guardians of Cubeo and executors of the will of Her Imperial Highness, Aisling Duval, grow ever more concerned at human preparation for Thargoid contact and at worst attack. We are also concerned by the poor recent decisions made by the Federation. The recent destruction of the Federal Cruiser which stole priceless Thargoid data from Professor Palin has set back human preparedness to an unknown, but clearly unacceptable level. The expertise and dedication of Professor Palin is beyond dispute.
Our grace Corwin Ryan thinks that operations such as this cannot be a good idea. Imperial and Federation Cruisers and Fleets as well as countless lives have been lost in tandem with the Empire's continued efforts to conceal the reality of this technologically different and existentially dangerous Alien species.
Whilst we cannot dispute that in the past secrecy by any and all parties involved was for the benefit of humanity as a whole and avoided a public panic when any immediate danger was distant and unlikely. However, recent events have changed the situation to what is now a clear and present danger. We applaud the efforts of this generation and generations past to keep us safe, but with the latest revelations we urge that a new direction is taken, information is shared and the populace of all our worlds is reassured that we can and will work together, the first step must be that this threat is acknowledged by all governments at all levels.
We urge our own Princess, who draws her support from her concerted, noble and necessary efforts to improve Imperial Society for all of its citizens, her very source of power is her unimpeachable integrity, to confirm the existence of this threat.
Hundreds of billions of lives depend on enlightened governance and that works best hand in hand with an enlightened populace.
We urge as many people, groups and governments as possible to support this call for information, for aid and most of all, acknowledgement that our leadership at the highest levels are aware of the danger and steps are being taken to prevent conflict, to defend us if conflict occurs and when possible, any information, technology and intelligence is shared at large to ensure the continued existence of our species and our ways of life.
