I've never done the pp stuff to unlock them yet but my krait needs to dock for repairs after 2 cyclops kills usually and I lasted only one heart of a basilisk before being forced to retreat. My engineered biweave shields just don't have the staying power even with two hd boosters. I've got an annaconda tank in dock kitted for anti xeno combat but I prefer the krait for hit and run rather than face tank the interceptors.

You can certainly increase your absolute MJs with prismatics, and the power overhead on the Krait is well suited to them.
