Pristine Rings beyond the Bubble?

I'm wondering, are "Pristine" metal rings limited to a certain area of inhabited space. In my six week expedition I don't remember seeing a pristine ring, just metal rich.

Also, if you're trying to mine but avoid combat (ie High Intensity RESs) where is the best kind of place you can make the most?

They will all be pristine outside of inhabited space.

You'd think, but as far as my memory serves they all say "metal rich" - or am I misunderstanding something key? Should it say "Pristine Metal Rich" or something? How do I know if it's pristine or not? Why am I having so much fun saying the word "Pristine". I think one of the Powers should have their name changed to Pristine. Maybe the Pirate King... let's call him Pristine instead.

... I think I derailed myself.

Hmm, try this thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=88059 I used to fly out to California and Pleiades quite a bit, am certain I saw 'Pristine' in the system maps out there. Haven't paid attention on my deep space trips further out.

The quality doesnt seem to show up on belt clusters or rings unless you Detailed Surface scan them and I think in the case of belt clusters you need to scan them all for it to show

All the rings and clusters out there are pristine regardless whether they are metallic, metal rich, rocky or icy.
My Asp has mining laser and refinery, and I have brought back ore samples from several thousand lighyears away.

When looking at the info on a system you will see pristine for that system this is the level of reserve. Then we have metallic metal rich ect. Best is pristine metallic. It seems even with that, type of metal and density varies.. anyone else notice this?

Have a look at the belt or ring mass
higher masses more stuff.

The Pristine level mark is above the the ring info
