Private trading

I've searched recent suggestions, and didnt find this suggestion. sorry if i missed a thread.

I would think it would be cool to be able to trade animals with someone specifically, be it a steamfriend or someone you agreed with on discord.
animal-animal trading would be harder to implement i guess, but specific animal-CC trading might be easier?

If i want to trade animals or sell animals to someone from for instance Discord i gotta post it while the other refreshes and someone else might snipe it.

I would really like it. But I think Frontier already mentioned once that they will not implement it

if they do that, the market won't be used anymore.. and then one of the fun/challenging things in franchise is gone (and for me there are 0 then, lol)

LillidarAn mentioned the most important part.

I think the market needs a boost in performance/more options to chose from/easier options to sell animals, and private trading somewhat conflicts with this.
A lot of dedicated players will sell their animals on discord and you limit the market.
If the market gets improvements and the amount (+quality) of animals on the market improve, I don't mind as much.
Even then, it should be limited to a few trades per week.

I agree with this... lots of people want 'good stat animals' which i understand. Frontier places every 9 minutes or so 4 animals of each species on the market, but with very low stats. I've bought them plenty of times in the beginning and most of the times i would get silver or golden baby's from them.. But i think people would be happier if they would be at least bronze and be places more often... (they are usually gone within seconds after placing).

Trading is not a big issue, btw. You can both sell your trade for 10.000CC, so no loss on both ends.
Most likely other people don't buy it. And if they do, that's a good profit

I think a private trading system would have a negative impact on the current supply and demand in the market. What could happen is an option to send animals to friends as a gift for free. Something that would enable private transactions, yet not having an effect on the market.
