Hardware & Technical Pro Flight X-56 Rhino H.O.T.A.S. System....................

Well indeed. I bought this H.O.T.A.S. System exactly 12 months and 1 week ago and you guessed it, it is stuffed.

In a recent epic battle I heard and felt a snap in the YAW function of the stick rendering flight very difficult.

I have just ordered another in the hopes that it will last me 4-6 months so that I can prep my system and myself for the WARTHOG system. I will get a playseat set up and learn to fly with rudder pedals.

I did enjoy using the X-56 but at $500.00 AUD a pop, I would have hoped it lasted a tad longer. hey ho.

Not sure what the Aussie warranty is but Europe gets two years. I suggest you contact Logitech, they own the brand now. "If you don't ask, you don't get". They replaced mine (I am in the USA) and extended the 90-day USA warranty to two years. My replacement has been working flawlessly for about six months. After I "proved" I had destroyed my old one (by sending pictures of the cut cables) they sent me a whole new set and now I have spare parts! [up]

Check your warranty. If it's still covered - send it back.

If not - take it apart and replace either the spring or stopper that's stuffed :D
