Pro-tip for Guardian FSD Booster users...

By which, I really mean something that's blatantly obvious but which I keep on forgetting....

If you've got an FSD Booster fitted, and you've got it set on Priority 2 (or lower) to conserve power for other things, make sure you retract your hardpoints and wait for the FSD Booster to re-boot before you plot a route to any other system.

I've noticed that, in particular on mining and combat ships, I'll finish what I'm doing, plot a route somewhere and then, after 3 or 4 jumps, realise that I'm not jumping as far as I should be.
It's 'cos the FSD Booster is on Priority 2 and if I plot a route while my hardpoints are deployed the route-plotter will plot jumps that DON'T include the additional range provided by the FSD Booster... cos it's off-line when you're plotting the route.

That is all.

Thanks for the hint - I thought that Guardian Modules (especially the FSD booster) ignored power priorities, and you cannot switch it off. I will try to set a lower priority and test this out, even if I do not need it at this time.
