Newcomer / Intro Probably a stupid question...

Just bought the game today, fired it up and grabbed a mission. Deliver Data to Hartsfield Plant... So I find it on my map, warp to it and get all the way to the waypoint and find..... Nothing! Am I missing something cause I can't seem to find a single dockable place in this game, even when I go to "orbital stations" all it is is a waypoint and nothing more.... :(

Yes, I have Hartsfield Plant set as my WP, I'm only moving 30ms/s and I'm just floating by a WP in space, I am seeing no station or anything to dock with, and have no contact to request docking with :(

You're still in supercruise.

On the top left of the main scanner is an indicator with a blue circle in it. This shows your orientation relative to your target. If the circle is filled, the target is in the hemisphere in front of you. If it's empty, it's in the hemisphere behind you. Turn until the filled circle is in the centre of the display. If you're close enough (within 1000km) and travelling slowly enough (under 1Mm/s), you'll see the words "safe disengage ready" in blue at the bottom of your window. You can then drop out of supercruise by pressing the same button you used to enter it. When you drop out, you'll see the station every time, as you always drop in facing it.
